Joe Strummer- Letterman- Johnny Appleseed
Saw The Clash in 1983 and Joe got me thru college. Wish I had seen Joe & The Mescaleros. Miss you terribly! Happy Birthday 🖤
Recently I read an article where Joe's daughters said their dad loved creating and being in his community, and was always just "making things happen." That inspires me tremendously. The future is unwritten....
Couldn't sing unless he shouted. This is deplorable.
There is lots of music that doesn’t resonate with me, I don’t spend time watching that music
How much does this world need Joe right now. A truly great and irreplaceable icon!
I had to take a deep breath before watching this. Knowing Joe would be gone a year after this. Thank you, Johnny Appleseed, for sowing beautiful seeds.
Some things i know, some things i don't...
❤🤘🏴
Punk Rock Warlord.
Climate crisis anthem.
Eternal genius ❤
Beautiful.
This was almost exactly 2 weeks before I saw them in Scottsdale AZ and had the unbelievable, unforgettable experience of hanging out with Joe all night until the wee hours of the morning. Along with the birth of my son and my wedding day, it was easily one of the top 3 greatest moments of my entire life. It’s all too easy to be severely disappointed when you finally get to meet one of your lifelong heroes, but in Joe’s case it was the opposite experience. He exceeded my expectations tenfold. People like him are so rare, and we as a species were damn lucky to have him in our plane of existence. He was a real gift to humanity, and his words and music will live on as long as we exist. You often hear people say that we need him here with us today, and though I couldn’t agree more with the sentiment, the fact of the matter is that he *IS* still with us, just as long as we never forget his lessons. If you’ve never seen it, I can’t recommend the Joe Strummer documentary “The Future is Unwritten” enough.
Rock n roll bany!!!!!!!
Joe had that indescribable something that made you feel that despite any shite going on in your life, there was always hope. Thanks, Joe.
Forever a king 👑
What a passionate, genuine, noble, humane man.
Miss you Joe!
Amazing song and great work by everyone playing live! Thank you all!
I miss U Joe and Mr Cash

A phenomenal performance.....one of Strummers absolute best and he looks just cool as f**k too jx
beautiful as ever , the clash I was brought up on
This album is iconically underrated. So good. Timeless.
I was lucky enough to see Joe 4 times. Once with the Clash, once with Latino Rockabilly War, & twice with the Mescaleros.
George Bush killed Joe Strummer
I can't believe that I never saw this before. Had me bawling like I did the night Joe died. Life hasn't been the same.

Still here in 2022. This song. I loved it then. I love it now. Thank you Joe.
Never saw The Clash (born in '72,) but I saw Strummer a few times. ❤️🏴
He would have been 70 today. Still love the man and his music.
Absolutely perfect
I saw this too
